1st Post - Adolph De Souza Australia

Summers on in Perth. Today is a cooler day (28C). Here is a photo of my sapota tree. And a couple of photos of the fruit which are nearly ripe. When I bought it some ten years ago I thought I was buying a chiko tree, but the nursery guy thought the sapota was the same as chiko. Very different. Now this fruit is very pleasant to eat. But I think I still prefer a chiko.

Tomorrow I will focus on the tendli creeper growing in a pot and show you the making of a tendli pickle recipe.

Hi folks
Summer is truly here. The very first mango from my front yard for this year. If everything goes to plan I will get another fifty of those in the next five weeks.
It is not a big mango but it is delicious. It is known as Kensington pride.

These are mangoes from my tree. I have challenged the
magpies and crows to get at them before I did!
